Established in 1926, the course was designed by Alexander H. Findlay. Known as the United States "Father of Golf" was a Scotsman who emigrated to the United States in the 1880's. Mr. Findlay, along with his brother, designed more than 500 golf courses throughout the country including the Palm Beach, St. Augustine and Lake Placid Country Clubs.

“He clearly belongs as one of the recognized golf pioneers in America,” says world-renowned golf historian Sidney Matthew. “He was a prolific builder of golf courses, an excellent player and even an accomplished club maker. He did everything in the early days of the game in this country.”

Today, the course has developed into a challenging, beautifully landscaped haven, while the country club offers customized memberships designed to meet each individual's or family needs. Our breathtaking 257-acre tract with its 18-hole, par 71 course has been made even more impressive by an ambitious bunker renovation to be completed during the 2023 season. Our on-going commitment to improve the course and clubhouse. A driving range and practice green with bunkers make warm-up easy; enjoy a quick snack in our Halfway House at the 9th hole. Our Golf Shop, with full-time PGA professionals and all of your golf equipment or apparel needs, adds the final touch to the complete golf facility.
